Founder member of SFID (Society for Inclusive Development) & CEO of Green Earth Alliance (GEA-S Asia), Anil is working in the domain of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) as an Expert and Certified Trainer (CBI, Netherlands), Mentoring young Social Entrepreneurs, Consulting ICT4D and Educational Projects for the last two decades at local, regional and global levels.

After spending initial years in mainstream IT industry, Anil moved ahead in ICT4D sector for developing digitally empowered society and got involved in various advocacy & policy related campaigns to bring ICT from “Classes to Masses” with regional & multilateral agencies like UN-ESCAP/Thailand, WSIS/ITU/Geneva, ITiRA/Australia, GKP/Malaysia, GCNP/Montreal, Oneworld SA, Panos SA (South Asia) etc. and was recognized and awarded for developing many prize winning community centric ICT4D/Digital Empowerment projects.

Anil have been instrumental in promoting ICT as human right within Govt., CSO, INGOs and was invited speaker, resource person & visiting scholar with many prestigious Organizations and Universities like Central Queensland University & Ballarat University/Australia, IIT/Roorkee, IMT/Hyderabad, GB Pant Agri. Uni./Pant Nagar, HNB Garhwal, Graphic Era and Doon University etc.,

Anil’s projects on ICT4D, CSR & Livelihood are well recognized by Stockholm Challenge/Sweden, Digital Partner Inc/Seattle, UNESCO and APMN/ICIMOD etc. and he also got opportunity to co-authored a book on “Closing the Digital Divide” for “GreenWood Publication/USA”. Presently Anil has undertaken the Executive Editorship of India’s only monthly magazine “CSR & Competitiveness” and also writing articles for international Web Magazine in India and abroad on CSR, Social Entrepreneurship, Digital Empowerment, Education etc. .

Presently, Anil is working as CSR expert and involved in promoting socially responsible business practices through strategic CSR framework right from awareness, educational level to implementation/execution level. He was handling various CSR Assessment and Consulting projects with CBI (Govt. of Netherlands) jointly with “FICCI- Adiya Birla CSR Center of Excellence” targeting Indian SMEs, IT/ITeS Cos and exporters with special focus on European market. Recently Anil is nominated to head CSR State Committee of PHD Chamber of Commerce for Uttarakhand and is in national task Force of CSR for PHDCCI.

Anil is promoting his new endeavor “GEA” a South Asia based network of like minded organizations & professionals for the promotion of CSR related activities i.e education, capacity building, Social Entrepreneurship, advocacy, consulting etc. In the last one year, GEA-SA has worked with Titan (Tata Group), Tata Motors, ONGC, Strides Foundation, SIDCUL, IICA in organising many national and international conferences on CSR, MDGs and SE (Social Enterprises) with special focus on Rural, Women Entrepreneurs & young and budding entrepreneurs as well.

Anil is well known in international circuit for his vision; knowledge, creativity and extensive networking skills and travelled extensively from South-Asia to North America and Australia/Pacific region to South-East Asia.

A vagabond by spirit, Anil loves travelling; nature’s photography, enjoys Indian music, reading, writing and not forgetting his responsibilities towards the society with special interest to interact/talking with young learners/students
