The organizers of the 2020 International Social and Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) Summit have announced its call for proposals/abstracts for next year's Summit.
The 2020 SBCC Summit will be held at Marrakech, Morocco on 30 March - 3 April 2020. With the vision "Strength in Diversity", the Summit will focus on three main themes:
- Catalyzing transformational change on agendas of urgency, such as climate crisis and global heating, gender equity, community engagement and citizen action, health access and equity, and humanitarian action;
- Future forward, which will explore where the field is now and where it is headed; and
- Connecting the dots, which will look into ways to further increase collaboration, skills sharing and capacity building, and creative collective action.
The event is organized by the Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs, UNICEF, Soul City Institute for Social Justice, Digital Green, Social Change Factory, Puntos de Encuentro, and the American University of Beirut Center for Public Health Practice.
